Job description

We are looking for a Jira Cloud Migration Engineer to lead and support the migration of Atlassian environments to Jira Cloud, ensuring seamless transitions, governance compliance, and optimization of ITSM and project management workflows.

This role requires strong expertise in Atlassian cloud migrations, IT Governance, and hands-on experience with ITSM and PM tools, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute Jira Server/Data Center to Jira Cloud migrations.

  • Assess current environments and define migration strategies, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.

  • Configure and optimize Jira Cloud, workflows, permissions, automations, and integrations.

  • Ensure alignment with IT Governance standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.

  • Support migration and configuration of ITSM processes within Jira Service Management.

  • Analyze and improve PM and service workflows for cloud adoption.

  • Troubleshoot migration issues and provide post-migration support.

Job requirements

  • Advanced English level (C1 or higher) – strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven experience as a Jira Migration Engineer / Atlassian Engineer / Jira Administrator.

  • Strong expertise in Jira Cloud migration projects.

  • Solid understanding of IT Governance frameworks and best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (preferably Jira Service Management).

  • Experience with Project Management tools and workflows.

  • Knowledge of Atlassian ecosystem integrations and automation.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
